Last Monday was Presidents day and the History Department here at YHC had a guest speaker who wrote a book on Abraham Lincoln called The House of Abraham and it talks about his In-Laws. The author of the book made some very interesting points and I look forward to reading the book.
The Oscars were last night (Sunday) and some of the awards went to the film and actor who deserved it the most like Heath Ledger winning for his role as the Joker in The Dark Night. It was sad to see his parents accept his award. Also I liked that the show did not become a politically inspired show.
Spring Break is in two weeks and I cannot wait however these next two weeks are going to drag on.
Also tomorrow is Fat Tuesday. I am debating what I should give up for Lent.
