College

College has been the best experience of my life and last Semester changed my life forever. I came to Young Harris not knowing what to expect and I loved being in the mountains during the fall. I favorite classes were Zell Miller's and New Testament. I had to drop out of math because I could not handle it and I am retaking the course and I will do what ever it takes to pass the class. I made a lot of new friends and my family was very proud of me getting to college with my disability

My room mate and I got along fine but as the semester went on I noticed that he stopped going to classes and he was just living in my room like a hotel. One day I walked in on him selling drugs and I did not know what to do. I thought about just waiting until the end of the semester because he said he would not be back. I also thought that this drug thing was a one time deal but he kept selling it in front of me until he told me that he has been doing it since the beginning of school. I had it because I did not want to get expelled I called my sisters and asked what should I do. One told me to wade it out and the other told me to turn him in. I called my dad and he told me to turn him in and that was the first of November when this all went down and I was living alone until Christmas Break. I have a new room mate now and we get along fine. He is about the nicest person I know. From what I went through last semester I kind of lost the room mate touch because I did not want to go through that again.

As I have said before I made the Dean's List last semester and the expectations are set and they are higher then ever.

In the end it was family and friends that supported me and this experience made me realize that no matter what happens family and friends will always be there for me. It also made me realize that I have to be careful who I be friends with.
